Abstract

La presente invención describe formulaciones nuevas de un adhesivo de fusión en caliente, que tiene una capacidad de procesamiento mejorada y que se puede procesar fácilmente, incluso en procesos a velocidad alta y, en particular, en procesos de pulverización o de fibrado. Dichas formulaciones de un adhesivo de fusión en caliente comprenden, como su componente polimérico principal, al menos una composición polimérica de 1-buteno isotáctico de metaloceno, que tiene una viscosidad baja y que tiene una composición sustancialmente bimodal, obtenida directamente durante la polimerización, en dos pasos de reacción consecutivos y separados, donde el primer polímero (polímero A) de dicha composición polimérica, que es una composición bimodal, es un homopolímero de 1-buteno isotáctico o un copolímero de 1-buteno isotáctico con otra olefina, mientras que el segundo polímero (polímero B) es un copolímero de 1-buteno isotáctico, con otra olefina, con una composición química obviamente diferente de A, cualitativamente y/o cuantitativamente; dichos productos de fusión en caliente comprenden además un modificador de viscosidad que no es sólido a temperatura ambiente. Las formulaciones de adhesivos de fusión en caliente, de acuerdo con la presente invención, son particularmente adecuadas para ser utilizadas en la fabricación de artículos higiénicos absorbentes, en diversos tipos de aplicaciones dentro de dichos artículos.
