Abstract

Un método para mejorar la conductividad dentro de un yacimiento que contiene hidrocarburos mediante la construcción de pilares apuntalantes en una disposición espacial en fracturas creadas o ampliadas en el yacimiento. Se bombean simultáneamente dos fluidos de diferente viscosidad y estabilidad dentro del yacimiento. Los fluidos contienen apuntalantes idénticos que incluyen un apuntalante que flota en forma neutra en el fluido y un apuntalante que no flota en forma neutra en el fluido. Se crean pilares que se extienden en forma vertical dentro de la formación cuando se desestabilizan los fluidos y luego se libera el apuntalante más pesado de los fluidos desestabilizados. El área entre los pilares puede mantenerse abierta con la presencia del apuntalante que flota en forma neutra en el resto del fluido. Luego el fluido producido del yacimiento que contiene hidrocarburos fluye al menos parcialmente a través de los canales entre los pilares que se extienden en forma vertical.
