Abstract
Un método de procesamiento de datos de video comprende recibir datos de entrada asociados con una imagen actual, determinar un tamaño para una unidad de árbol de codificación actual (CTU) o una unidad de codificación actual (CU) en la CTU actual, y si el tamaño, un ancho o una altura de la CTU o CU actual es mayor que un umbral, el codificador o decodificador divide la CTU o CU actual en múltiples bloques hasta que cada bloque no sea mayor que el umbral. La CTU o CU actual se procesa para predicción o compensación y transformada o transformada inversa. La CTU actual se procesa de acuerdo con las sintaxis de nivel de CTU señalizadas en una corriente de bits de video. El codificador o decodificador codifica o decodifica la CTU actual. El umbral corresponde a un tamaño máximo de unidad de transformada (TU) soportado para el codificador o decodificador.
