Abstract
Se describe un sistema de casco de realidad virtual junto con técnicas asociadas para realizar un seguimiento exacto y automático de la posición, del cuerpo del usuario y del ambiente, de adentro hacia afuera, para realidad virtual o mixta. El sistema usa métodos de visión por computadora y fusión de datos de múltiples sensores para lograr un seguimiento en tiempo real. La alta velocidad de fotogramas y la baja latencia se logra mediante la realización de parte del procesamiento en el propio HMD.
