Abstract
Un proceso para enfriar un sustrato metálico (1) que se desplaza en una dirección longitudinal (A), dicho proceso comprende expulsar al menos un primer chorro de fluido de enfriamiento en una primera superficie de dicho sustrato (1) y al menos un segundo chorro de fluido de enfriamiento en una segunda superficie de dicho sustrato (1), dichos primer y segundo chorros de fluido de enfriamiento están expulsados a una velocidad de fluido de enfriamiento mayor o igual a 5 m/s, para formar en dicha primera superficie y en dicha segunda superficie un primer flujo de fluido de enfriamiento laminar y un segundo flujo laminar respectivamente, dichos primer y segundo flujos de fluido de enfriamiento tangenciales al sustrato (1), dichos primer y segundo flujos de fluido de enfriamiento laminares se extienden sobre una primera longitud predeterminada y una segunda longitud predeterminada del sustrato (1) respectivamente, dichas primera y segunda longitudes estando determinadas de manera que el sustrato se enfría desde una primera temperatura a una segunda temperatura mediante ebullición nucleada.
