Abstract

Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para determinar un color dominante en una imagen digital, que incluyen un dispositivo de computación configurado para recibir una imagen digital, dividirla en una pluralidad de grupos de pixeles que incluyen al menos un primer grupo y un segundo grupo, analizar los pixeles del primer grupo en base a una primera velocidad de muestreo, analizar los pixeles del segundo grupo en base a una segunda velocidad de muestreo y determinar un color dominante de la imagen digital en base a los pixeles analizados del primer grupo y del segundo grupo. Los pixeles del primer grupo están más cerca del centro de la imagen que los pixeles del segundo grupo y la primera velocidad de muestreo es mayor que la segunda.
