Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con el uso, para la separación de gases, de al menos un material adsorbente zeolítico que comprende al menos una zeolita de tipo FAU, presentando el adsorbente una superficie externa superior a 20 m2.g-1, un contenido en fase no zeolítica (PNZ) tal como 0 < PNZ = 30%, y una relación atómica Si/Al comprendida entre 1 y 2.5. La invención se relaciona igualmente con un material adsorbente zeolítico que presenta una relación Si/Al tal como 1 = Si/Al < 2.5, un volumen mesoporoso comprendido entre 0.08 cm3.g-1 a 0.25 cm3.g-1, una relación (Vmicro - Vmeso)/Vmicro comprendida entre -0.5 y 1.0, extremos no incluidos, y un contenido en fase no zeolítica (PNZ), tal como 0 < PNZ = 30%.
