Abstract
Provided is a method for manufacturing a tooth-shaped component, the method comprising: a drawing step for drawing a workpiece to obtain a cylindrical container having a bottom surface part and a side surface part; a diameter reduction step for diameter reduction of a specific region where a tooth tip is to be formed in the side surface part of the cylindrical container, thereby increasing the thickness of a corner part between the bottom surface part and the side surface part in such a way that the shape of the outside of the corner part satisfies the conditional expression (1); and a tooth shape molding step for forming the tooth tip in the specific region of the cylindrical container having undergone diameter reduction in the diameter reduction step, and thereby obtaining a tooth-shaped component having the bottom surface part, the side surface part, and the tooth tip part.
