Abstract

Se divulga un método para ajustar la posición neutral de una palanca de cambios que se utiliza para controlar manualmente la selección de marchas en una caja de cambios manual de velocidades múltiples de un vehículo de motor VM en el cual la posición neutral en un plano neutral transversal se ajusta en base a la velocidad del vehículo V de manera de estar alineada con un plano de una marcha engranada preferida. En una realización que tiene cuatro marchas de avance dispuestas en pares en un primer y un segundo planos paralelos, la ubicación de la neutral en el plano neutral transversal se ajusta de manera de estar alineada con el primer plano que contiene el par de marchas de avance que tiene las relaciones más bajas si la velocidad actual del vehículo V es inferior a un umbral de velocidad predefinido del vehículo v1, y se ajusta de manera de estar alineada con el segundo plano que contiene el par de marchas de avance que tiene las relaciones más altas si la velocidad actual del vehículo V está por encima del umbral de velocidad predefinido v1.
