Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un compósito cementoso mecano activado para la detención de impacto de arma de fuego, en donde se diseñaron mezclas de cemento Portland compuesto CPC mecano-activado por molienda mecánica de alta energía (high energy milling HEM) con otros ingredientes, tales como: cemento CPC ordinario, arena(s) fina(s), fibras, y aditivos poliméricos, entre otros compuestos para preparar muros compósitos de alto desempeño, capaces de arrestar varios calibres hasta el tipo 50 (típicamente cargado en rifle Barret). Siguiendo las normas mexicanas y americanas para pruebas balísticas, que implican la aprobación del muro de concreto con fines de resistencia balística, siempre y cuando éste resista un sólo impacto con el calibre 50 del Barret, con la presente invención se obtienen muros compósitos (de 40 x 40 x 15 cm) con cemento mecano-activado cuyo desempeño cumplió por demás, dicho estándar.
