Abstract

Se proporciona un método para realizar un producto que contenga tabaco cortado fino pasteurizado para uso combustible. El método comprende disponer tabaco cortado fino (1) que comprende tiras alargadas de tabaco que tienen una anchura de corte menor que 0.5 mm y un contenido de humedad de al menos 18 por ciento en peso y calentar el tabaco cortado fino (1) de manera tal que el tabaco se pasteurice. Además, se proporciona un producto que contiene tabaco cortado fino pasteurizado (1) para uso combustible. El producto comprende un empaque cerrado (2); y tabaco cortado fino pasteurizado (1) dentro del empaque cerrado (2), en donde el tabaco cortado fino pasteurizado (1) tiene una anchura de corte menor que 0.5 mm y un contenido de humedad de al menos 18 por ciento en peso y un valor de unidad formadora de colonias (CFU) menor que 2 logo10 unidades formadoras de colonia por gramo.
