Abstract

Se describen compuestos de fórmula A y fórmula A-1, o una sal del mismo, y formulaciones farmacéuticas (composiciones farmacéuticas) que comprenden dichos compuestos, o una sal del mismo: (ver Fórmulas) en donde ``R1´´ , ``RA-1´´, ``R2´´, ``R3´´, y ``Het´´ se definen aquí antes, cuyos compuestos se cree que son adecuados para su uso en la antagonización selectiva de los receptores A2a, por ejemplo, los que se encuentran en alta densidad en los ganglios basales; se cree que tales compuestos y formulaciones farmacéuticas son útiles en el tratamiento o manejo de enfermedades neurodegenerativas, por ejemplo, enfermedad de Parkinson, o trastornos del movimiento derivados del uso de ciertos medicamentos usados en el tratamiento o manejo de la enfermedad de Parkinson.
