Abstract

Se describe una válvula de seguridad (10) para pozos de extracción, configurada para ser instalada en el cabezal (11) de un pozo y para encerrar una porción de un material tubular (12) insertada dentro del pozo. El material tubular (12) es interiormente hueco y está diseñado para contener y transportar fluidos y otras sustancias extraídas del pozo. La válvula de seguridad (10) está proporcionada con un orificio central a través del cual pasa el material tubular (12) y comprende un sistema de bloqueo (14, 16) configurado para mantener firmemente el material tubular (12) que se cortará fijado con respecto a la válvula de seguridad (10), un grupo de corte y cierre (18) configurado para cortar y cerrar el pozo bajo ciertas condiciones operativas, y un mecanismo de sellado (20), diseñado para efectuar un cierre hermético del pozo después del corte. El grupo de corte y cierre (18) consiste en una sierra de copa (26) alojada en una cámara respectiva de dicho grupo de corte y cierre (18). La sierra de copa (26) es girada mediante un medio de accionamiento motorizado (28) y está configurada para moverse en un modo controlado a lo largo de una dirección sustancialmente ortogonal con respecto a la dirección de desarrollo del pozo.
