Abstract
Un método (74) para proporcionar una entrada que representa la dirección de la mirada en un sistema de computadora operativamente acoplado con un sistema de visión. En este método, se adquiere una primera imagen de un ojo en un primer nivel de iluminación mediante una cámara del sistema de visión (78). La primera imagen se obtiene desde la cámara, y también se obtiene una segunda imagen del ojo que corresponde a un segundo nivel diferente de iluminación (80). Se compara el brillo de los píxeles correspondientes de las primera y segunda imágenes con el fin de distinguir un reflejo de la iluminación desde el ojo de un reflejo de la iluminación desde los anteojos (84). Entonces se proporciona la entrada basándose en el reflejo de la iluminación desde el ojo (90).
