Abstract

Un método para controlar un regulador de voltaje (10) que tiene una entrada nominal y una salida nominal estructurada para operar en un modo de energía directa en donde la energía fluye desde la entrada a la salida y un modo de energía inversa en donde la energía fluye de la salida a la entrada. El método incluye detectar la corriente que fluye a través del regulador de voltaje (10), determinar una dirección de flujo de energía a través del regulador de voltaje (10) basado en la corriente detectada, determinar una dirección verificada del flujo de energía a través del regulador de voltaje (10) al alterar un voltaje entre la entrada y la salida y analizar un efecto causado por ello sobre al menos uno de un voltaje en la entrada y un voltaje en la salida, y seleccionar un esquema de regulación de voltaje para controlar el regulador de voltaje (10) basado en la dirección verificada de flujo de energía.
