Abstract
Un reactor de ondas de choque (11a, 11b, 102) para craqueo térmico de insumos que contienen hidrocarburos, que comprende una carcasa (4) en donde un conducto (10) se forma con la entrada (6, 6a) y salida (7); un rotor (1, 1a) cuya periferia contiene una cascada de álabes de flujo axial (2); en donde la carcasa sustancialmente abarca la periferia del rotor (1a) y un número de cascadas de álabes estacionarias (8, 9) dentro del conducto, y además donde las cascadas (2, 8, 9) están configuradas para dirigir la corriente del proceso que contiene insumos para pasar repetidamente dichas cascadas de acuerdo con la trayectoria helicoidal mientras se propaga dentro del conducto entre la entrada y salida y para generar ondas de choque estacionarias para calentar los insumos; la cascada de rotores de flujo axial (2) está configurada para proporcionar energía cinética y para agregar velocidad a la corriente del proceso que contiene insumos, y las álabes estacionarias ubicadas descendentemente a la cascada de rotores (2) están configuradas para reducir la velocidad de la corriente y convertir la energía cinética en calor; el reactor puede estar configurado para la realización de procesos de craqueo térmico que utilizan hidrocarburos; sin embargo, puede utilizarse para procesar los insumos de carbohidratos y glicéridos que incluyen procesar la materia de biomasa gaseosa; se presentan los métodos relacionados para procesar la materia de insumos.
