Abstract

La invención se refiere a un sistema de freno, en particular un freno de tambor de cuña para vehículos de utilidad, que comprende un elemento de transmisión y un elemento de pistón, en donde el elemento de transmisión es guiado de manera desplazable a lo largo de un eje de transmisión (U), en donde el elemento de pistón es guiado de manera desplazable trasversalmente con respecto al eje de transmisión (U), en donde el elemento de transmisión tiene una superficie de transmisión (21) que está orientada de una manera inclinada con respecto al eje de transmisión (U), en donde el elemento de pistón es soportado con una superficie de pistón (42) sobre la superficie de transmisión (21), en donde un desplazamiento del elemento de transmisión a lo largo del eje de transmisión (U) genera un desplazamiento del elemento de pistón sustancialmente en forma trasversal con respecto al eje de transmisión (U).
