Abstract

Se proporciona un método para ajustar la energía de radiación láser pulsada y enfocada. En el método, se establece una relación la energía umbral de pulsos necesaria para provocar una lesión irreversible en un material y se establece la duración de un pulso. La relación permite obtener la energía umbral de los pulsos para cada una de la pluralidad de duraciones de los pulsos, incluyendo una o más duraciones de pulsos en un intervalo entre 200 fs e inferior. La relación define una energía umbral del pulso para una duración decreciente de pulso en el intervalo entre 200 fs e inferior. Para una duración de pulso dada en el intervalo entre 200 fs e inferior, se determina una energía umbral de pulso asociada basándose en la relación establecida. La energía del pulso de la radiación láser se ajusta basándose en la energía umbral de pulso asociada y determinada. En ciertas realizaciones, la relación representa una disminución de la energía umbral del pulso sustancialmente en función de la raíz cúbica de la duración del pulso.
