Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para producir arena triturada artificial por medio de un tratamiento térmico usando arena en la forma de arena fina (FS/FSa) y/o arena redonda como el material inicial (1). El material inicial (1) en la variante A se calienta a una temperatura de fusión mediante la formación en haz de los rayos solares (13), y/o el material inicial en la variante B se calienta a una temperatura de fusión usando un dispositivo de fusión convencional que obtiene su suministro de energía usando energía solar convertida o almacenada, siendo que cada uno de una pluralidad de granos de arena se aglomeran por fusión en un producto tridimensional intermedio (2). El producto intermedio (2) producido de esta manera se enfría y finalmente se desmenuza a un tamaño de partícula de menos de 2 mm en un proceso de desmenuzado. Un producto final (3) se produce que difiere del material inicial (1) en lo referente a la forma y aspereza de superficie. El método ofrece una solución a largo plazo para satisfacer la demanda de arena triturada y proporciona arena para la industria de la construcción.
