Abstract
La invención se refiere al uso de sinterización directa de metal mediante láser (DMLS) para la producción de un herramienta de moldeo, en particular un molde permanente, con el fin de evitar inclusiones de aire en los pistones de motores de combustión interna manufacturados en un proceso de colada en coquilla por gravedad, en donde al menos una porción de la herramienta de moldeo tiene una pluralidad de perforaciones pequeñas, en particular micro-perforaciones, para descargar el aire. La invención también se refiere a un método para producir una herramienta de moldeo, en particular un molde permanente, para la colada en coquilla por gravedad de pistones para motores de combustión interna.
