Abstract
La invención está relacionada a un dispositivo de otoscopio, en especial configurada para manipularse por un lego durante su aplicación, que comprende una unidad detectora de radiación configurada para detectar la radiación reflejada por el oído externo del paciente, en especial por el tímpano; en donde el dispositivo de otoscopio comprende además medio electrónicos y/u ópticos configurados para determinar la información espectral de la radiación reflejada, en especial con respecto a longitudes de onda más cortas que 500nm a 480nm, y configurados para determinar una proporción de radiación en el espectro por debajo de 480nm a 500nm a la radiación en el espectro por encima de 480nm a 500nm, en especial con base en una intensidad específica de radiación reflejada dentro del espectro de radiación UV y/o luz azul. Además, la invención está relacionada a un método para identificar y/o ubicar objetos en un oído del sujeto o a un método para identificar o caracterizar un tímpano. Además, la invención está relacionada a un método para determinar el riesgo de un estado patológico del tímpano y su vecindad y a proporcionarle al usuario un índice de riesgo de inflamación.
