Abstract

Se divulga un método para recubrir un segmento de tubo. El método comprende aplicar por medio de electrodeposición una composición de recubrimiento al segmento de tubo, en donde la composición de recubrimiento comprende: (i) un polímero (met)acrílico dispersado en medio acuoso preparado por polimerización en la presencia de un grupo de sal catiónica que contiene dispersante polimérico, una composición de monómero no saturado etilénicamente polimerizable que comprende una mezcla de monómeros no saturados etilénicamente, al menos uno de los cuales contiene al menos dos grupos no saturados etilénicamente por molécula; (ii) un vehículo resinoso catiónico electrodepositable que contiene grupos de hidrógeno activo; y (iii) un agente de curado reactivo con los grupos de hidrógeno activo.
