Abstract
Un cable que incluye un conductor rodeado por una capa de recubrimiento, la capa de recubrimiento está formada de una composición vulcanizada termoplástica la cual incluye una fase continua y una fase dispersa. La fase continua está formada de una poliolefina termoplástica. La fase dispersa está formada de una poliolefina elastomérica reticulada. La composición vulcanizada termoplástica pasa la Prueba de Fluencia en Caliente a 150 °C de acuerdo con UL 2556 (2013) y tiene una pérdida dieléctrica de 3 o más. También se describen los métodos para formar cables con recubrimientos.
