Abstract

Se describe un proceso para preparar espumas de poliisocianurato modificadas con poliuretano o uretano rígidas a partir de poliisocianatos y compuestos reactivos al isocianatos polifuncionales en presencia de agentes espumantes en donde los compuestos reactivos al isocianato polifuncionales comprenden un poliol de poliéter que tiene un número de hidroxilo de entre 50 y 650 mg KOH/g obtenido al hacer reaccionar un iniciador polifuncional primero con óxido de etileno y subsecuentemente con óxido de propileno en donde el grado de propoxilación es entre 0.33 y 2 mol de óxido de propileno por átomo de hidrógeno activo en el iniciador y en donde la relación molar de óxido de etileno a óxido de propileno en el poliol de poliéteres al menos 2.
