Abstract
Un aparato de calentamiento de microondas con un aplicador de guía de onda tubular que forma una cámara de calentamiento y con elementos de centrado de microondas transparentes para mantener el producto que va a ser tratado en proximidad del eje de línea central de la cámara; el producto es transportado a través de la cámara en una dirección u opuesta a la dirección de propagación de las microondas; cebadores cilíndricos en las aberturas de entrada y salida del producto dentro de la cámara evitan la fuga de microondas y permiten aberturas grandes para productos grandes; en algunas versiones, un tubo interior de baja pérdida en la cámara coaxial con el aplicador tubular es utilizado para confinar producto que va a ser calentado en la proximidad del eje de línea central de la cámara que se va a calentar de manera efectiva mediante microondas con un patrón de campo TM01.
