El primer (10) y el segundo patrón (20) cubren solamente niveles de grises en un intervalo entre 20% de negro y 80% de negro, en particular entre 35% de negro y 65% de negro. El primer patrón (10) se invierte con respecto al segundo patrón (20). Como un efecto un espectador en modo de transmisión (PI) ve una imagen homogénea, si el primer y segundo patrón se superponen, debido a que el primer patrón y el segundo patrón son imperceptibles, se anulan entre sí en el modo de visualización de transmisión. Desaparece la información.
