Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones para usar en el tratamiento o la prevención de una infección de influenza, y las composiciones contienen un oligosacárido 2-fucosilado, tal como 2'-fucosil lactosa (2'FL). Las composiciones pueden incluir, además, fructooligosacáridos (FOS). Adicionalmente, dichas composiciones pueden usarse para mejorar la resistencia a un virus de influenza, disminuir la influenza en los pulmones, disminuir la anorexia inducida por influenza, disminuir la secreción de mucina pulmonar inducida por influenza, y disminuir la respuesta de lgG inducida por influenza. Estas pueden usarse en un infante o un niño pequeño.
