Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para mejorar el impacto de los estudios de asociación genética de estímulo-respuesta genéticamente diversificados (GDSRGA). Los métodos pueden implicar desarrollar subpoblaciones que se contrastan en los estudios GDSRGA al obtener una muestra biológica de cada donador de una población de donadores; seleccionar un cohorte común de las muestras biológicas al obtener al menos una secuencia genómica parcial de cada muestra biológica, alinear las secuencias de la muestras biológicas, y remover las muestras biológicas que no se pueden secuenciar con precisión o no logran alinearse; aplicar una molécula de prueba o condición a las muestras biológicas para inducir respuestas fenotípicamente distintas entre los miembros de cohorte; y segregar las muestras biológicas en las subpoblaciones basadas en las respuestas fenotípicamente distintas. Estas subpoblaciones se pueden usar en estudios GDSRGA.
