Abstract
Se describe un método para determinar la ubicación de un punto de interés. El método comprende los pasos de proporcionar un detector óptico; capturar una imagen por el detector óptico; obtener la posición y orientación del detector óptico; identificar al menos una coordenada del punto de interés dentro de la imagen capturada; asignar la posición del detector óptico y las coordenadas del punto de interés en un modelo de elevación digital; y determinar la ubicación del punto de interés al proyectar al menos una trayectoria desde la posición del detector óptico a través de las coordenadas del punto de interés en el modelo de elevación digital. También se describe aquí un sistema para determinar la ubicación de un punto de interés al utilizar el método mencionado anteriormente.
