Abstract
Se proporcionan un circuito de protección de término de vida de para un balastro electrónico no aislado y un método para proteger el mismo. El balastro electrónico no aislado incluye un circuito conductor (104), un circuito de muestreo (108), y un circuito de control (102). El circuito conductor (104) se conecta a un circuito de salida (106) para controlar la operación de una carga. El circuito de muestreo (108) muestrea valores de voltaje de corriente directa (DC) de un capacitor de una lámpara acoplada al balastro para detectar la ocurrencia de un evento asimétrico. El circuito de control (102) recibe un valor de voltaje en respuesta a detectar el evento asimétrico y da salida al circuito conductor (104) de una señal de control para controlar la operación del circuito conductor (104) para evitar el daño de término de vida. También se proporcionan un circuito de protección de término de vida para un balastro electrónico aislado y un método para proteger el mismo.
