Abstract

Se describe un sistema tratamiento auxiliar de gas amargo para tratar una corriente de gas amargo durante un tiempo en donde una instalación de tratamiento primario de gas no está disponible, funciona mal, es inadecuada o inoperable. El sistema de tratamiento auxiliar de gas amargo comprende un sistema de almacenamiento de solvente pobre para almacenar un volumen apreciable de un solvente pobre regenerable disponible en demanda de un depurador A para tratar un suministro de entrada del gas amargo al poner en contacto el gas amargo y el solvente pobre que enlaza química y físicamente los contaminantes en el gas amargo dando por resultado un gas limpio adecuado para eliminación o uso como un combustible, y el solvente en un estado enriquecido que contiene los contaminantes removidos. El solvente enriquecido que resulta del tratamiento se puede almacenar indefinidamente en un sistema de almacenamiento de solvente rico y después regenerar en cualquier tiempo conveniente y en cualquier velocidad o lugar conveniente para remover los contaminantes del solvente rico.
