Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para trenzar hilo de aramida al rededor de un núcleo sin fin, en donde se proporciona el núcleo para un paso de trenzado a un aparato de trenzado que comprende por lo menos un carrete de hilo, en donde durante la operación el carrete gira al rededor de su propio eje y el carrete gira al rededor del núcleo, y desenredar el hilo desde el carrete al rededor del núcleo para proporcionar un núcleo rodeado por el hilo, en donde el hilo es un hilo de aramida continuo provisto de 0.05 a 0.95 % en peso con base en el peso de la aramida, de un acabado que comprende un compuesto organofosforado, en donde el compuesto organofosforado es un compuesto de la fórmula X1X2X3P=O, en donde X1, X2, y X3 se seleccionan de manera independiente de Y1-, Y1-O- , y M-O, en donde Y1 es un alquilo, arilo o alquenilo de C1C20 ramificado o de cadena recta, y en donde M se selecciona de Li, Na, K, o amonio, con la condición de que por lo menos uno de X1, X2 o X3 se seleccione de Y1- o Y1-O-, en donde los distintos tipos de Yl pueden ser iguales o distintos; en una modalidad, el hilo de aramida continuo está provisto con 0.10 hasta 0.50 % en peso del acabado; se ha encontrado que el uso de una cantidad relativamente pequeña de un acabado que comprende un compuesto organofosforado específico tiene como resultado una estabilidad de paquete mejorado en un servidor giratorio con una entrega de hilo giratoria. En consecuencia, los paquetes de hilos de aramida provistos de este acabado permiten el trenzado a alta velocidad al rededor de un núcleo sin fin.
