Abstract

Se provee un método para determinar una ruta de migración de un fluido subterráneo a través de un volumen geológico. El objeto de partida se localiza dentro del volumen geológico. El objeto de partida define un límite de fluido inicial. Los puntos de datos se distribuyen a través del volumen geológico. Los puntos de datos se asocian con valores de uno o más atributos geológicos. El método incluye los pasos de definir una expresión que determina un cambio en posición del límite de fluido en los puntos de datos en una interacción con base en los valores de uno o más atributos; y aplicar la expresión en los puntos de datos para interacciones sucesivas con el fin de cambiar el límite de fluido en las interacciones sucesivas. La ruta de migración del fluido subterráneo a través del volumen geológico puede determinarse a partir del cambio del límite de fluido.
