Abstract
Una mezcla de gas portador se dirige a lo largo de un trayecto de flujo del fluido (16, 18) en un dispositivo combinado de transferencia de calor y masa (12, 14), que puede operar a presiones por debajo de la atmosférica. Se transfieren calor y masa desde/a la mezcla de gas portador mediante una interacción con una composición líquida que incluye un componente vaporizable en estado líquido, para cambiar sustancialmente el contenido del componente vaporizable en la mezcla de gas portador mediante evaporación o condensación. El caudal másico de la mezcla de gas portador se hace variar mediante la extracción/inyección (60, 62, 64) de la mezcla de gas portador desde al menos una posición intermedia en el trayecto de flujo del fluido, y/o el caudal másico de la composición líquida se hace variar mediante la extracción/inyección de la composición líquida desde al menos una posición intermedia en el trayecto de flujo del fluido. El flujo de la mezcla de gas portador o de la composición líquida se regula para reducir el pinch medio de entalpía local.
