Abstract

The present invention relates to a machine for cleaning and removing impurities from plastic film used in agricultural padding for subsequent reuse thereof, characterized in that it comprises a support structure having a bottom wall and peripheral walls, adapted for supporting a pair of parallel rollers at the upper portion thereof, said rollers comprising a plurality of rods distributed about its peripheral surface. The rollers are mounted on shafts, the end portions of said shafts comprising bearings for providing a rotational movement. A pair of U-shaped sieves is located below the rollers so as to define a lower chamber for collecting soil and harvest residues, said chamber comprising a system for extracting soil and harvest residues. A top cover is mounted on the support structure to cover at least one pair of said rollers defining an upper chamber between the upper chamber and the pair of sieves, wherein the plastic film material is recirculated to be cleaned and which defines a n inlet for feeding the material through a feed system and a drive system for impelling at least said one pair of rollers, and an outlet which is disposed at the upper chamber for discharging the clean product.
