Abstract

Un método para combinar una pluralidad de imágenes del ojo en una imagen multifocal plenóptica que incluye el registro de las imágenes del ojo con una pluralidad de cuadros en uno o más conjuntos de imágenes del ojo con un procesador y un sistema de memoria, alinear cada una de las imágenes del ojo en cada uno de uno o más conjuntos de imágenes con una referencia seleccionada que reside en el sistema de memoria con el procesador y determinar una o más regiones en foco de las imágenes del ojo al calcular una o más imágenes gradiente ignorando interferencia y otros artefactos de imagen. El método también incluye la identificación de la una o más regiones en foco con máxima resolución de la una o más imágenes de gradiente y seleccionar una o más correspondientes intensidades en foco de los cuadros para combinar en una imagen multifocal plenóptica con una mayor resolución que las imágenes del ojo, los cuadros y uno o más conjuntos de imágenes del ojo.
