Abstract

Un sistema incluye un cifrador que lleva a cabo cuantificación en un bloque rectangular de coeficientes de transformada cuantificados y un descifrador que lleva a cabo descuantificación en un bloque rectangular de coeficientes de transformada. El descifrador está configurado para recibir un bloque de WxH de coeficientes de transformada cuantificados, en donde W es un ancho de fila del bloque y H es una altura de columna del bloque. El descifrador está además configurado para aplicar procesamiento de descuantificación al bloque de WxH de coeficientes de transformada cuantificados para generar un bloque de coeficientes de transformada, que son utilizados para generar una imagen correspondiente al bloque de WxH de coeficientes de transformada cuantificados. El procesamiento de descuantificación comprende aplicar un primer algoritmo de descuantificación cuando una salida M de una función (ver Fórmula) es igual a un valor entero, y aplicar un segundo algoritmo de descuantificación cuando la salida M es igual a un valor no entero.
