Abstract
resumo métodos e aparelhos para quantificação e dequantificação de um bloco retangular de coeficientes um sistema inclui um codificador que executa quantificação em um bloco retangular de coeficientes de transformada quantificados e um decodificador que executa dequantificação em um bloco retangular de coeficientes de transformada. o decodificador é configurado para receber um bloco wxh de coeficientes de transformada quantificados, em que w é uma largura de linha do bloco e h é uma altura de coluna do bloco. o decodificador está adicionalmente configurado para aplicar processamento de dequantificação ao bloco wxh de coeficientes de transformada quantificados para gerar um bloco de coeficientes de transformada, o qual é utilizado para gerar uma figura correspondente ao bloco wxh de coeficientes de transformada quantificados. o processamento de dequantificação compreende aplicar um primeiro algoritmo de dequantificação quando uma saída m de uma função (i) é igual a um valor inteiro, e aplicar um segundo algoritmo de dequantificação quando a saída m é igual a um valor não inteiro.
