Abstract
La medición de potencia mediante el seguimiento de un ciclo de voltaje cuando las mediciones de voltaje y corriente se toman en diferentes ubicaciones en una línea de potencia de CA, con los dispositivos que toman las mediciones interconectados por una red de datos asincrónica. En general, un mensaje de sincronización/temporización se envía desde el lado de detección de voltaje hasta el lado de detección de corriente, con el mensaje de sincronización/temporización siendo transmitido en un punto predeterminado en el ciclo de voltaje periódico. El punto predeterminado en el ciclo de voltaje puede ser el punto de cruce de ceros, u otro punto, del ciclo de voltaje.
