Abstract

Un segmento de polea de chaveta en un sistema de transmisión por poleas de intercambio sincronizado por segmentos es el primero o el último en un conjunto de segmentos de polea para acoplarse a un miembro sin fin. Levas montadas en chasis acoplan los rodillos fuera de la zona de contacto, rodillos y brazos de rodillo se mueven dentro y fuera de acoplamiento con las levas, y los segmentos individuales de una pila unificada se mueven dentro y fuera de acoplamiento. Los rodillos pueden ser accionados dentro y fuera de acoplamiento por electroimanes, montados fijamente en una disposición. Los rodillos pueden acoplarse discretamente con varias levas, por medio de varias disposiciones de electroimanes, y de esta manera completar varios movimientos axiales de las pilas. Los electroimanes en una disposición pueden energizarse selectivamente para mover rodillos seleccionados hacia una posición activa con el fin de efectuar el acoplamiento de segmentos de polea de chaveta, el movimiento axial de las pilas y la transición.
