Abstract

La presente descripción se relaciona generalmente con un producto de papel tisú que tiene una composición de encrespado dispuesta en al menos una superficie del mismo para aumentar la suavidad del artículo, al tiempo que retiene o mejora la eficiencia de fabricación. Los productos de papel tisú también tienen un apresto que incrementa el tiempo de impregnación, sin impactar negativamente en la suavidad o el desplazamiento de la máquina. Preferiblemente la composición de encrespado comprende un componente catiónico y un componente que forma la hoja, de los cuales ambos son preferiblemente solubles en agua. El componente catiónico lleva una carga catiónica que es capaz de formar uniones iónicas con las fibras cargadas negativamente de la red de papel tisú, proporcionando así un mecanismo de retención por medio del cual la composición de encrespado se retiene en la hoja. La retención global de la composición de encrespado en la hoja reduce la concentración de la composición en el agua del proceso de la máquina, mejorando la operatividad y desplazamiento de la máquina.
