Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un elemento alimentador para usarse en colado de metal. El elemento alimentador comprende un primer extremo para montar sobre un patrón de moldeo o placa oscilante, un segundo extremo opuesto que comprende una placa de montaje para montar sobre un manguito alimentador y un agujero entre el primer y segundo extremos definidos por una pared lateral. El elemento alimentador es comprimible durante el uso para reducir así la distancia entre el primer y segundo extremos. El agujero tiene un eje que está descentrado del centro de la placa de montaje y un reborde integralmente formado se extiende desde una periferia de la placa de montaje. El elemento alimentador de la invención encuentra utilidad particular en sistemas de moldeo de arena verticalmente divididos de alta presión.
