Abstract

Se describen un método y sistema para utilizar una dirección de control de acceso a medios (MAC) de un dispositivo móvil para comunicación en un ambiente de distribución de contenido que incluyen detectar la dirección MAC de un dispositivo móvil cuando está en o dentro de un rango predeterminado del ambiente de distribución de contenido. Una vez que la dirección MAC ha sido detectada, se obtiene información de usuario registrado del dispositivo móvil a través de una o más bases de datos y después el contenido de medios personalizado es suministrado a uno o más dispositivos de presentación que estén muy cerca del dispositivo móvil dentro del ambiente de distribución de contenido. En modalidades alternativas, la presencia de un usuario dentro del ambiente de distribución de contenido es automática y transparente al usuario del dispositivo móvil.
