Abstract
La invención se refiere a un dispositivo y a un método para guiar bandas (5, 6) que serán unidas entre sí a lo largo de sus bordes longitudinales (7, 8), en el cual bandas que corren sustancialmente en paralelo con separación entre sí son guiadas por medio de rodillos de deflexión (1, 2, 3, 4) a una posición de unión. Para producir también un ángulo de unión en forma de cuña (ángulo de apertura) cuando se unen bandas relativamente gruesas y/o bandas con cualidades de alta resistencia, sin que una de las bandas se deforme plásticamente en el proceso, el dispositivo de acuerdo con la invención hace posible que el rodillo de deflexión (3, 4) ubicado más cerca de la posición de unión se configure como un rodillo cónico, el cual se ahúsa en la dirección del borde longitudinal (7, 8) de la banda que será unida, el rodillo de deflexión (1, 2) dispuesto corriente arriba de este rodillo cónico (3, 4) en la dirección de corrida de la banda también se configura como un rodillo cónico o como un rodillo de deflexión que tiene una superficie lateral cilíndrica, y el rodillo cónico (1, 2) mencionado al final se ahúsa en la dirección del otro borde longitudinal (10, 11) de la banda (5, 6), o el eje rotacional del rodillo de deflexión que tiene una superficie lateral cilíndrica se acerca espacialmente al eje rotacional del rodillo cónico (3, 4) dispuesto corriente abajo en la dirección de corrida de la banda en el lado de borde de la banda opuesto al borde longitudinal (7, 8) que será unido.
