Abstract
Se describe un generador de calor y método para generar calor. El generador de calor incluye un calentador eléctrico de fluido operable para recibir fluido y para calentar el fluido al hacer pasar corriente eléctrica a través del fluido, que en virtud de las propiedades resistivas del fluido, el fluido se calentará. El método incluye bombear fluido a un calentador eléctrico de fluido el cual calienta el fluido al hacer pasar corriente eléctrica a través del fluido, que en virtud de sus propiedades resistivas, el fluido se calentará. El método además incluye bombear fluido caliente desde el calentador eléctrico de fluido hacia el interior de un receptáculo de fluido dentro de un intercambiador de calor, en donde el receptáculo de fluido transfiere calor del fluido caliente a través de un intercambiador de calor a una sustancia que está en proximidad con el intercambiador de calor.
