Abstract
Se divulga un sistema de transferencia de agua por ósmosis hacia adelante que recicla agua de una corriente de agua residual entrante dentro de una corriente de salmuera de proceso diluida saliente. El sistema incluye una corriente de salmuera saturada, una primera porción de la cual se desvía para formar una corriente de salmuera de proceso saturada y una segunda porción de la cual se desvía a por lo menos una membrana de ósmosis hacia adelante. La por menos una membrana de ósmosis hacia delante mueve el agua de la corriente de agua residual entrante dentro de la corriente de salmuera saturada desviada entrante para de esta manera crear una corriente de agua residual concentrada saliente y la corriente de salmuera de proceso diluida saliente.
