Abstract

The present invention refers to a herbal remedy based on an aqueous solution of Cydonia oblonga with an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, healing and mucoprotector effect, characterised as: finished product, process for the manufacture and application thereof. As a finished product it is a water soluble composition 1/10 (w/v) of a medicinal extract obtained from the aerial parts of a plant commonly known as quinces which scientific name is: Cydonia oblonga recognised with the name of Pavardo Solution. As a manufacturing process includes the decoction of the aerial parts of the plants for two hours, which results in a final composition of approximately 10% of the vegetable material in water, without preservatives and additives, which has a pH of 6.0, complies with the microbiological standards of being an innocuous preparation presented in darkened crystal containers. As an application process, the invention includes a multipurpose solution, depending on the treatment, such as: 1. a liquid product orally administered, with analgesic and mucoprotector effect. 2. As a liquid product in a spray form, moistened dressings or patches applied in enough and constant amounts in external surfaces with I and III degree burns, eczema, or other skin or vascular lesions, useful for relieving pain, obtaining anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects and tissue regeneration, which promote the healing of the lesions over days depending on the intensity of the damage.
