Abstract

Se describen dispositivos transportables para distribuir repelentes de insectos, fragancias, y/u otros químicos a lo largo de la parte exterior de la ropa de un humano. Son del tipo que se sujetan sobre un cinturón o similar, y utilizan un ventilador motorizado para distribuir el activo. Se configuran con arreglos de rotor de ventilador para minimizar el uso de energía mientras aún se logran velocidades aceptables de flujo de aire. Estos cambios permiten el uso de baterías más pequeñas y arreglos más compactos para la colocación de la batería. Esto a su vez permite una construcción mucho más compacta y ligera para lograr los resultados deseados. Los dispositivos también se proporcionan con una estructura de sujetador giratorio para hacer el uso del dispositivo más cómodo cuando el usuario está sentado y para proporcionar un mayor control sobre la dirección de la distribución. Además, se proporcionan con tapas modificadas para facilitar la sustitución del repuesto de activo.
