Abstract
Un circuito excitador de electrodo de ionizador de aire y método en el cual un voltaje de CA elevado de amplitud constante predeterminada es producido por un generador de alto voltaje para la aplicación a los electrodos del ionizador. El nivel de iones producido es luego controlado por el tiempo de producción de iones utilizando un controlador que conecta y desconecta el generador de voltaje en una manera repetitiva. El ciclo de trabajo, es decir la proporción de encendido-apagado, al cual opera el generador de voltaje luego determina el régimen de producción de iones promedio. Este método permite controlar el nivel de producción de iones de 0 a 100% del rango.
