Abstract
Se describe un método de predicción espacial para codificar una imagen residual en codificación de video en capas. El método de predicción espacial incluye seleccionar al menos uno de un modo preestablecido, un modo horizontal y un modo vertical como un modo de predicción espacial, tomar en cuenta una actividad de al menos un bloque adyacente ubicado adyacente a un primer bloque entre bloques incluidos en la imagen residual; y codificar diferencias entre pixeles del primer bloque y pixeles de un bloque de predicción construido por uno de los modos de predicción espacial seleccionados. Por lo menos un bloque adyacente incluye un primer bloque adyacente ubicado a la izquierda del primer bloque y un segundo bloque adyacente ubicado en la parte superior del primer bloque.
